The instructor is there to ensure that you do everything correctly, but try to remember:
- Proper posture is the key to all exercises – especially the exercises with weights.
- Aim to learn the proper technique when you first start
- Work as much as you can to improve your technique.
- Do not overdo the pounds. Begin to upload gradually after four to six weeks.
- Perform movements with control – smooth movements, not jerky.
- Always keep the joints slightly bent.
- Focus on the muscles you are working and solidify the rest.
- Listen to your body – it will tell you if something is not done correctly.
Muscle fatigue is a natural result of the early days. This will decrease soon as the body adapts to exercise with weights.
